"At 18, I Was Already Experimenting with Telepathy"

Yohai Israeli Always Zigzagged Between the Business World and the Spiritual World

At age 30, while serving as a senior executive, he decided to leave everything and fly to India. Later, he tried integrating his spiritual knowledge into the world of management, but during a trip to Puerto Rico, he realized that his true calling was elsewhere. He developed a healing method, and today, he inspires many. "I was a talented manager, but I wasn’t happy. I felt that I needed to help people," he says.

A Leap into the Unknown

In recent years, we have been hearing more and more about people who left promising careers and stable lives—usually with no connection to spirituality—to embark on a spiritual journey. Yohai Israeli’s story is similar, yet different.

He first became interested in the spiritual world at age 18, began practicing meditation at 23, and started studying Kabbalah at 24. For several years, he worked in the business world, attempting to integrate the spiritual concepts he had learned. When he realized that this attempt was limited, he left everything, fully dedicated himself to his spiritual journey, and developed **THEGATE**, a new method of healing.

"I lost faith in psychology as well."

Israeli, 43, a resident of Herzliya, was born in Kibbutz Ruhama. "I started getting into mysticism at 18, and it's important to understand that I came from a place where there was no access to books or spiritual teachers. Back then, I experimented on my own with telepathy and similar things," he recalls.

It was only four years later that he met his first mentor, an immigrant from the former Soviet Union. "I spent long nights learning and having deep conversations with him." He began practicing meditation, studying Kabbalah, and, at 24, started studying psychology. He holds a B.A. in Behavioral Sciences from the Academic College of Tel Aviv and a Master’s degree with honors in Organizational Behavior from Tel Aviv University. He also completed group facilitation courses within the university’s psychology department.

From the Business World to a Spiritual Journey

Alongside his spiritual pursuits and academic studies, Israeli worked in various management roles. By age 28, he became a senior manager at the organizational consulting firm Lahat. Some time later, he decided to leave everything and travel to India.

"Everyone thought I was on the right path, but beneath all the masks, I wasn’t happy. The deeper I delved into psychology, the more I lost faith in it as well. At a certain point, I decided I had had enough, and I left everything. I planned to travel abroad, and at the doorstep of the travel agency, I flipped a coin to decide between India and South America. That’s how I ended up in India, where my spiritual journey to developing THEGATE method truly began."

After several months abroad, Israeli attempted to return to the business world, hoping to integrate his spiritual insights. At 33, he was appointed Vice President at the recruitment company Job Tov.

"For many years, I was a talented and respected manager with a great deal of autonomy. While working, I mentored managers and employees, investing in their growth and development to create more humane organizational systems. But it wasn’t enough—because in the business world, the bottom line is what matters. I felt like I was on a path without a heart; my heart wasn’t in it. I knew I needed to do something else, to help people. It was only a matter of time before I took the leap of faith and immersed myself in change."

A Life-Changing Experience in Puerto Rico

The final turning point came during a trip to Puerto Rico, where Israeli studied with Star Fuentes, a master healer and head of the Coranderos lineage in Mexico. In an intimate training program with just nine participants, he acquired deep knowledge about healing, working with different dimensions, and shifting states of consciousness.

Upon returning to Israel, he completely left the business world and dedicated himself entirely to healing and helping people.

Transforming Consciousness

The goal of HEGATE method is to bring about a fundamental transformation in consciousness—from an **automatic, conditioned** mindset that creates unhealthy communication patterns with ourselves and others (while depleting our energy levels) to a connected, inner-voice-centered** awareness that fosters inner peace and naturally increases our life energy.

This method helps people easily identify what they want to change or achieve in life and make those changes effortlessly. At the same time, it allows them to accept that nothing is perfect—without suffering because of it.

How Does It Work?

Clients attend a short term process, varying from person to person and depending on the issue being addressed. Each session includes a short conversation, followed by a treatment conducted while the patient lies on a therapy bed with eyes closed.

During the treatment, Israeli uses various techniques, including energy work similar to healing practices, as well as specific phrases and affirmations that trigger the person's inner transformation.

He explains that the focus is on deep, unconscious levels, including beliefs, past experiences (even from past lives), and soul commitments that limit individuals. As these blockages are released, internal resistance often arises, but this resistance itself becomes part of the healing process.

One of the breakthroughs of this method is that you don’t need to analyze past experiences deeply. We go straight to the roots of the issues and transform them into accessible life energy."

"A Client Began to Hear Better"

Israeli’s method is designed so that people can learn it and apply it to themselves. Additionally, he trains others to become certified practitioners, and today, dozens of therapists in Israel use this method professionally.

"The goal is to heal what hurts and help people achieve lives filled with freedom and fulfillment," he says.

One notable case involved an 80-year-old man who sought treatment for severe anxiety, which prevented him from enjoying time with his grandchildren.

"Treating patterns of fear or stress typically takes one to three sessions," Israeli explains. After treatment, the client regained his ability to relax and enjoy time with his grandchildren.

In another case, a patient with hearing loss came to Israeli for help. The condition had developed in childhood due to damage to the nerve cells in his inner ear. At the time, he was using a hearing aid and reported progressive hearing deterioration.

"Before and after each session, I conducted a hearing test with him to monitor when the improvement occurred. During the treatment, I helped him reconnect with his innate knowledge of how to hear. After three sessions, his hearing began to improve."

A Holistic Approach to Healing

Israeli emphasizes that THEGATE method is suitable for treating a wide range of issues, both physical and emotional.

"Thoughts of self-judgment, criticism, anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, or regret create emotional or physical pain, fatigue, stress, and a feeling of disconnection from oneself. This method enables a deep reconnection to one's essence, body, and emotions—leading to emotional and physical well-being, inner freedom, and the power of choice."
